Some APS 1.2 applications create DNS records during the provisioning of domains. This results in a failure of the provisioning order with the error "Could not persist APS entity ""."


This is a known software issue, POA-113926.


  1. Set the "Domain registrar status default value" setting to "Undefined" under Provider Panel > System > Settings > System Properties.
  2. Resubmit the order for provisioning.
  3. After provisioning is completed, change "Registrar Status" of the domain to "Ready" under Provider Panel > Services > Domains > domain name > Edit. (Optional: for manually registered domains only)
