Latest Chrome (61.0.3163.100) shows ERR_SSL_SERVER_CERT_BAD_FORMAT upon login to OA CP for self-signed certificates

Symptoms

On Odin Automation test environment, with a self-signed certificate generated for the brand, login to CP stopped working in the latest versions of Google Chrome browser (>61.0.3163.100). The error is shown:

ERR_SSL_SERVER_CERT_BAD_FORMAT

Cause

Increased Chrome security considerations block access with the current certificate.

Resolution

Generate a new self-signed certificate and upload it via System > Settings > Brands > your brand > Certificate > Install new certificate.
