Symptoms

Add-on modification screen of Office 365 application instance UI (Screen ID: addon.edit) behaves differently, depending on user's approach. There are two scenarios.

  1. Click on some Add-on (Screen ID: addon.view-edit) > Edit (button) > click on some Parent License (on the same screen!) > OK (button)

    • In this case new possible parent license is added to the existing parent licenses of this Add-on.
  2. Click on some Add-on (Screen ID: addon.view-edit) > Edit (button) > Show Search (link) > Search by Offer Id (license grid should display THE ONLY license that we found) > OK (button)
    • In this case all possible parents of this Add-on are replaced with chosen parent license. Other parent licenses - which were there before - are removed.

Cause

Software-related issue #APSA-19093: "Add-on Type modification screen does not store all possible parents".

Resolution

Contact pta@odin.com or TAM to trace the status of the issue.

Also, Feature Request #PFR-904: "Add-on modification screen("addon.edit") redirects to "addon.list" screen instead of "addon.view-edit" has been addressed to Odin Development team in order to change the redirection behavior.
