Orders containing empty description of details for resources can be observed after upgrade to OAP 7.1.


There are two possible causes of this issue, both of them are valid for those installations with several locales installed:

  1. A vendor has promoted some resource as described in Promoting Resource section of the Billing Provider's Guide. Fees descriptions of this promoted resource were left empty. The issue can be observed during a new order placement when promotion is applied. Detaching the promotion, order detail description is set back to normal;
  2. A Resource Rate of the corresponding Service Plan has some Resource Rate period(-s) configured. Fees descriptions are also empty.

This behavior is caused by a software related issue with ID #PBA-81909.


Fill fees descriptions in the promoted resource/Resource Rate Period to prevent empty order details from appearing.

No solution to fix already affected orders and documents is available. Contact your Technical Account Manager or Pooled Technical Associate Team at to clarify the status of #PBA-81909.
