Symptoms
A task to register some Windows node (e.g. IIS) fails with the output:
Active Directory service is not initialized for 'example.com' domain. ADDomainController service is not installed for 'example.com' domain.
Cause
The First DC registered in OA was not initialized correctly.
Resolution
Go to TOP > Infrastructure > Service nodes > First DC node > Packages and install two packages:
ADDomainController
ADLockoutMonitor
The default settings are:
OU = HOSTING
Default Reseller Name = PROVIDER
