Symptoms
Incorrect usage of RAM is shown on performance graphs of VMs hosted in OACI infrastructure. Output of prlctl statistics VM_name command shows correct output:
ws.reclaimable: 1790
guest.ram.usage: 711
guest.ram.cached: 30
guest.ram.total: 2045
No errors could be seen in vps.log or paciagent.log. But it could be seen that OACI receives only one RAM counter, equal to ws.reclaimable value.
Cause
Counter ws.reclaimable gives OACI incorrect representation of RAM usage inside of VMs. That issue was recognized as CCU-15213.
Resolution
The software-related issue CCU-15213 is permanently fixed in scope of OAP 7.2 release.
Currently no workaround is available for this issue in OAP 7.1. Please contact your Technical Manager or a member of Pooled Technical Associates team in order to request hotfix for this issue in OAP 7.1.
