Office365 synchronization fails with Specified resource [UID] is not found. error.

Orphan records in the Subscription table of Office 365 Endpoint database.

This situation can be faced when customer tried to purchase another concurrent Office 365 subscription in the past and corresponding tasks failed and then were canceled.
