By default, Odin Automation collects resource usage for every instance of each APS application installed in the system. For this purpose, the "Synchronize resource usage for instances of APS applications" task is performed daily.

If you do not need to collect the resource usage for all APS applications, but only for some of them, follow the instructions below.

  1. Make sure that you have the following hotfix installed: OA 6.0.9 HOTFIX 131108 APS v7.
  2. Connect to the OA managmenet node via SSH.
  3. Create the /usr/local/pem/APS/resusage-enablements.txt file.
  4. Fill that file with the names of the applications, from which you want to collect the resource usage. The application names should be the same as they appear in the OA user interface, without quotes, each on a separate line. For example:

    Microsoft Office 365

Every time the "Synchronize resource usage for instances of APS applications" task runs, Odin Automation checks if there is the /usr/local/pem/APS/resusage-enablements.txt file on the management node. If the file exists, the task will collect resource usage for only those applications, that are listed in that file. Otherwise, the resource collection will be perfromed for all APS applications in the system.

Note: To add/remove applications for which you want to collect resource usage, modify the /usr/local/pem/APS/resusage-enablements.txt file on the OA management node like described in step 4 above. The changes will take effect with the next execution of the "Synchronize resource usage for instances of APS applications" task.
