Symptoms
Execute operation 'massUpdatePanelApps' task fails with the following output: Different operations with Plesk in VPS such as 'massUpdatePanelApps', logging in to Plesk interface from CCP failed:

on MN the following error can be found:

Cause
Custom PHP configuration in VE: PHP functions, required for Plesk in VPS Panel instance update, are listed in 'disabled_functions' in /etc/php.ini
.
Resolution
- Remove the line with
disable_functions
in/etc/php.ini
. - Run the Plesk in VPS Panel update task.
- Restore the configuration in
/etc/php.ini
