Symptoms

VPS restore does not work for a VPS NG (Flatfee) subscription. Pressing Restore button does not produce any changes.

The behavior occurs only for incremental backups. Full backups can be restored without issues.

In /var/log/pa/vps.aps.log on OA Management Node, the following error is found:

Cause

The behavior is recognized as a product issue CCU-14740: Incremental backups restore failed because of unwraping

Resolution

As a workaround, it is possible to restore the incremental backup from Provider's CP by navigating to Cloud Infrastructure > Servers > Your VPS > Backups and pressing Restore.
