General Information

This article contains requirements, instructions, and other references for the migration of Linux Mail Services from service nodes running CentOS/RHEL 5 to service nodes running CentOS/RHEL 6.

Prerequisites

1. For Odin Automation 7.0:

   • Odin Automation 7.0.1 must be installed.

   • The following mandatory hotfixes must be installed:

     • OA 7.0.1 HOTFIX 130545 Linux Mail Hosting on RHEL6/CentOS6 support
     • OA 7.0.1 HOTFIX 130570 PAU v18

2. For Odin Automation 7.1 and later:

   1. Download oa-7.x-Qmail_RHEL6_packages.zip to Odin Automation Management Node and unpack it
   2. Place *.tgz files from archive into /usr/local/pem/install/tarballs/ directory

   3. For each *.pdl.asc file from archive execute the following command:

      /usr/local/pem/bin/ppm_ctl -f /usr/local/pem/etc/pleskd.props add pkg pdl_asc_filename

3. The prepare_webmail_host.py script must be placed on the Odin Automation Management Node.

   Make sure that the SHA-1 hash of the prepare_webmail_host.py script is 6cd6acfb63daba5b323874efdbe11b5fefe05a17

   The SHA-1 hash can be checked in the following way:

   # sha1sum prepare_webmail_host.py
