Various Office 365 operations, such as new domain creation, synchronization and so on, fail with the error as below:

AADSTS90002: No service namespace named '8cab1b4f-8b3d-4a3c-9cc0-84bc13c9145f' was found in the data store.

The corresponding tenant cannot be found in Microsoft Online Portal. There can be any of the below reasons:

  1. Incorrect credentials specified in the O365 app instance, so the tenant can be found with those credentials
  2. The tenant does not exist, for example it was deleted in MOP
  3. Some issue on Microsoft side

  1. Make sure the credentials specified in the Office 365 application settings are correct. To do this, go to Service > Applications > Office 365 > Instances, click instance, review Administrator's login for connecting to Microsoft Online and Administrator's password for connecting to Microsoft Online. Try to login to MOP with those credentials and search for the client in question.

  2. Go to and enter the client administrator login to the corresponding filed, then move to the password field. Make sure that no error message is displayed. If some error message as depicted below is displayed, contact Microsoft Technical Support for the details.
