A task to create VE in OACI fails with the below error:

P30705: Virtuozzo storage cluster must be preliminarily configured for creating VPS with Cloud Storage

After restart the task completes successfully.

The task failure is caused by the software issue #CCU-13401: Instance Manager selects a node to provision VE on randomly, even if the node is marked as Not ready to provide.

The issue will be fixed in future updates. The following options are available as a temporary solution:

  1. Manually restart failed tasks every time those appear
  2. Mark OACI locked Virtualization Nodes as Ready to provide
  3. In addition to Not Ready To Provide mark virtualization servers as Inactive (on tab Cloud in server properties in PCP). OSA allows to do it if the server has no VEs in status Running
