Is it possible to migrate databases from old 32-bit MySQL server to a newer 64-bit based one?

Yes, it is possible to migrate MySQL databases to CentOS 6.x (x64). To do that, please prepare a new MySQL server according to the requirements of the Installing MySQL 5 deployment guide. Server should have same IP addresses as original MySQL server. Do not register this server in OA, just install OS and necessary RPM packages according to the guide .

After that it is necessary to proceed with migration using the General Migration Procedure. Backup and restore should be done using the MySQL Database Service section.
