[Microsoft 365] importSubsCSP.py Fails With Error "A duplicated entry is found for the SA Customer #CustomerId and Service Plan #PlanId in the line LineNumber"

Symptoms

You are importing cloud subscriptions of a customer tenant from the Microsoft cloud to CloudBlue Commerce. The importSubsCSP.py script fails with the following error:

A duplicated entry is found for the SA Customer #CustomerId and Service Plan #PlanId in the line LineNumber

Cause

The customer tenant has two or more different cloud subscriptions for the same offer.

Cloud subscriptions of the customer tenant can be represented by one CloudBlue Commerce subscription of a Microsoft 365 service plan, but you want to distribute these cloud subscriptions to several CloudBlue Commerce subscriptions of the same Microsoft 365 service plan. Note that it is possible but not recommended.

Resolution

Make sure that you really want to have two or more CloudBlue Commerce subscriptions of the same Microsoft 365 service plan. If so, specify the additional option --allow-duplicates when running the importSubsCSP.py script.

Note: This option is available in Microsoft 365 16.5 or higher.
