  1. On attempt to add service node task failed with the following error message:

Unable to authenticate at the host ''. To resolve this issue, please follow the instructions at
  2. Instructions from the article mentioned in the error message did not help.

This issue caused by incorrect permissions for the /opt/psa_agent/internal/auth. Most probably permissions were set incorrectly in result of umask settings.

  1. Check permissions on the /opt/psa_agent/internal/auth:

    # ls -la /opt/psa_agent/internal/auth
    -rw-r----- 1 root root 48 Jan 22 19:38 /opt/psa_agent/internal/auth
  2. Set correct permissions for the /opt/psa_agent/internal/auth:

    # chmod 644 /opt/psa_agent/internal/auth
    # ls -la /opt/psa_agent/internal/auth
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 48 Jan 22 19:43 /opt/psa_agent/internal/auth
  3. Specify default setting for umask in the /root/.bashrc or /etc/bashrc files.
