How to configure ColdFusion on IIS Service Node?


  1. Obtain ColdFusion 10 and start the installation on the service node node.

  2. When following the installation steps, installation master will ask to select webserver and the website for ColdFusion. Choose the IIS as a webserver and 'Defaults Web Site' as a website.

  3. At the end of installation, log in to the ColdFusion Administrator and configure the ColdFusion server according to the requriements.

  4. Register the ColdFusion 10, having the following command executed:

    c:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin>defpackagemng.exe --set-params --type=coldfusion --package=coldfusion10 --values="<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?><parameters><parameter name=\"login\" value=\"admin\"/><parameter name=\"password\" value=\"setup\"/></parameters>"

    NOTE: The parameters 'value' for the username and passwrod have to be replace with the values set during the installation.

  5. Reread the Service node package list. PA CP > Service nodes > IIS node > 'Refresh' under 'User-installed packages'.

  6. Monitor the associated task at the 'Task Manager' and make sure it completes successfully.
