New Office 365 offers are supported by Microsoft and you need to add them to the existing installation of the Office 365 APS 2 Application (Syndication Partner Scenario).

Resolution

Adding New Offers and Their Add-on Offers

For example, you need to add the following new offers and their add-on offers:

  • Office 365 Business Essentials
  • Office 365 Business Premium Trial
  • Office 365 Business Premium
  • Office 365 Extra File Storage
  • Exchange Online Archiving (EOA) for Exchange Online Customers
  • Skype for Business Online (Plan 3) Add-on

To add these offers to your installation, perform the following actions:

  1. Obtain the latest offer catalogue.

  2. Create the license type for each new offer. Use the instruction provided in the Odin Automation Premium Office 365 Integration Provider's Guide >> Syndication Partner Scenario > Configuring Offers > Creating License Types section (http://download.automation.odin.com/poa/Office365_APS2/doc/index.htm?fileName=82933.htm).

    For example, create the following license types:

    • Office 365 Business Essentials

      • License Name: Office 365 Business Essentials
      • Offer ID: 8283970d-3cba-429c-9c75-eb7d33ec0f14
      • Trial Offer ID: empty
      • Provisioning ID: O365_BUSINESS_ESSENTIALS
      • Can be assigned to users: Yes
      • Possible transitions: Office 365 Business Premium
    • Office 365 Business Premium Trial

      • License Name: Office 365 Business Premium Trial
      • Offer ID: a4da6eb4-ab6f-4d4e-80a3-207003553a4f
      • Trial Offer ID: empty
      • Provisioning ID: O365_BUSINESS_PREMIUM
      • Can be assigned to users: Yes

    Important: Use your offer catalogue to prepare the actual lists of possible transitions for new license types. You must also check and update the lists of possible transitions for existing license types. For instance, the list of possible transitions of the new license type A might contain the existing license type B (and vice versa).

  3. Create the add-on type for each new add-on offer. Use the instruction provided in the Odin Automation Premium Office 365 Integration Provider's Guide >> Syndication Partner Scenario > Configuring Offers > Creating Add-on Types section (http://download.automation.odin.com/poa/Office365_APS2/doc/index.htm?fileName=82937.htm).

    For example, create the following add-on types:

    • Office 365 Extra File Storage

      • Add-on Name: Office 365 Extra File Storage
      • Offer ID: d32c1ae8-e9ad-40f0-810c-becc79d1ff93
      • Provisioning ID: SHAREPOINTSTORAGE
      • Can be assigned to users: No

    For example, create the following 'Office 365 License' Resource Types:

    • Office 365 Business Essentials

      • License type instance: Office 365 Business Essentials
    • Office 365 Business Premium Trial

      • License type instance: Office 365 Business Premium Trial
    • Office 365 Business Premium

      • License type instance: Office 365 Business Premium
  5. Create the corresponding 'Office 365 Add-on' Resource Type for each new add-on type. Use the instruction provided in the Odin Automation Premium Office 365 Integration Provider's Guide >> Syndication Partner Scenario > Configuring Offers > Creating Office 365 Resource Types > Creating 'Office 365 Add-on' Resource Types section (http://download.automation.odin.com/poa/Office365_APS2/doc/index.htm?fileName=83002.htm).

    For example, create the following 'Office 365 Add-on' Resource Types:

    • Office 365 Extra File Storage

      • Add-on type instance: Office 365 Extra File Storage
    • Exchange Online Archiving (EOA) for Exchange Online Customers

      • Add-on type instance: Exchange Online Archiving (EOA) for Exchange Online Customers
    • Skype for Business Online (Plan 3) Add-on

      • Add-on type instance: Skype for Business Online (Plan 3) Add-on
  6. In OA Operations, add the new Resource Types into the Office 365 Service Template:

    • Go to Products > Service Templates.
    • Select the Office 365 Service Template.
    • On the General tab, click Deactivate.
    • On the Resources tab, click Add resources.
    • Select the resource and click Submit.
    • Set the resource limit to 0 and click Submit.
    • On the General tab, click Activate.
  7. Create the corresponding 'Office 365' Service Plans for each new 'Office 365 License' Resource Type. Use the instruction provided in the Odin Automation Premium Office 365 Integration Provider's Guide >> Syndication Partner Scenario > Configuring Offers > Creating 'Office 365' Service Plans section (http://download.automation.odin.com/poa/Office365_APS2/doc/index.htm?fileName=82943.htm).

    For example, create the following 'Office 365' Service Plans:

    Important: Use your offer catalogue to obtain the actual information for resource rates and upgrade paths of new 'Office 365' Service Plans. You must also check and update resource rate lists and upgrade paths of existing 'Office 365' Service Plans. For instance: subscriptions might be switched from the new 'Office 365' Service Plan A to the existing 'Office 365' Service Plan B (and vice versa); the resource of the new add-on offer A might be sold with the resource of the existing offer B; the resource of the existing add-on offer A might be sold with the resource of the new offer B.

  8. In OA Billing, add the new 'Office 365' Service Plans to the corresponding 'Office 365' Sales Category.

  9. Update the configuration of the offer compatibility checker. See the Odin Automation Premium Office 365 Integration Provider's Guide >> Syndication Partner Scenario > Configuring Filtration of Incompatible Offers section (http://download.automation.odin.com/poa/Office365_APS2/doc/index.htm?fileName=82929.htm) for details.

  10. In OA Billing, synchronize the 'Office 365' Service Template with its subscriptions. You can use the instructions of the https://kb.cloudblue.com/123749 KB article.

  11. In OA Billing, synchronize existing 'Office 365' Service Plans which were modified with their subscriptions. You can use the instructions of the https://kb.cloudblue.com/123749 KB article.

  12. In OA Billing, perform the synchronization of your online store.

  13. If there are resellers who resell Office 365 services, perform the following additional actions:

    1. Delegate the new 'Office 365' Service Plans and add the new 'Office 365' resources into the additional Service Template. Use instructions provided in the Odin Automation Premium Office 365 Integration Provider's Guide >> Syndication Partner Scenario > Configuring Offers for Resellers section (http://download.automation.odin.com/poa/Office365_APS2/doc/index.htm?fileName=83009.htm) (see the steps about delegating 'Office 365' Service Plans and creating the additional Service Template/Service Plan). After the changes, run synchronization for the corresponding Reseller Service Template and the additional Service Template/Service Plan.
    2. Update the configuration of the offer compatibility checker for your resellers. Use instructions provided in the Odin Automation Premium Office 365 Integration Provider's Guide >> Syndication Partner Scenario > Configuring Offers for Resellers section (http://download.automation.odin.com/poa/Office365_APS2/doc/index.htm?fileName=83009.htm) (see the step about configuring the offer compatibility checker).

Adding New Add-on Offers

For example, you need to add the Skype for Business Cloud PBX new add-on offer.

To add this add-on offer to your installation, perform the following actions:

  1. Obtain the latest offer catalogue.

  2. Create the add-on type for the new add-on offer. Use the instruction provided in the Odin Automation Premium Office 365 Integration Provider's Guide >> Syndication Partner Scenario > Configuring Offers > Creating Add-on Types section (http://download.automation.odin.com/poa/Office365_APS2/doc/index.htm?fileName=82937.htm).

    For example, create the following add-on type:
