RedsSys is switchng to SHA-256 from SHA-1. What should be done on OBAS side to conform with those changes?

SHA-256 is supported since OBAS 4.5.6.

As now there is a SHA-256 signature instead of a SHA-1 signature, it is needed to update the Secret code in the RedSys plug-in configuration with the SHA-256 code.

To get a new Secret Code from Redsys, please follow the steps below.

  1. Access Redsys Control Panel where XXXX is your bank;
  2. Click adm. tpv virtual;
  3. Click Comercios" > "Consultar;
  4. Click Ver clave and type in your password;
  5. Both the Secret Code for SHA-1 and SHA-256 will be displayed.

To resolve the issue, please upgrade to 4.5.6 as described in How to upgrade OBAS system to the latest available version.

As a workaround for OBAS 4.5.5, please download, depending on your OS, 64-bit or 32-bit version of the RedSys (ServiRed) plug-in that supports SHA-256 and install it by running the commands below:

For 64-bit OS:

# rpm -Uvh hspc-plugin-pp-op-servired-4.5.6-09.swsoft.x86_64.rpm
# hspc-upgrade-manager --finish

For 32-bit OS:

# rpm -Uvh hspc-plugin-pp-op-servired-4.5.6-09.swsoft.i386.rpm
# hspc-upgrade-manager --finish

Warning: Running hspc-upgrade-manager --finish will cause OBAS downtime for several minutes.
