OBAS is marking credit cards as expired at the start of the month instead of the end. This is causing problems for customers because they can not use their credit cards, even though they are still valid for a few more days.

All of those credit cards were added via the SagePay payment plug-in. Wrong day of month was stated while adding credit cards (e.g. 2015-09-01 instead of 2015-09-30).

Such behavior was classified as the software issue PBAS-30105 and was fixed in OBAS 4.5.5.

To resolve the issue, please upgrade to 4.5.5 as described in How to upgrade OBAS system to the latest available version.

Hotfixes for earlier OBAS versions

Download and install an appropriate hotfix from the ones below:

Hotfix for OBAS 4.5.3 and CentOS x86:

# rpm -Uvh hspc-plugin-pp-op-protx-4.5.3-56.swsoft.i386.rpm
# hspc-upgrade-manager --finish

Hotfix for OBAS 4.5.3 and CentOS x64:

# rpm -Uvh hspc-plugin-pp-op-protx-4.5.3-56.swsoft.x86_64.rpm
# hspc-upgrade-manager --finish

Hotfix for OBAS 4.5.4 and CentOS x86:

# rpm -Uvh hspc-plugin-pp-op-protx-4.5.4-27.swsoft.i386.rpm
# hspc-upgrade-manager --finish

Hotfix for OBAS 4.5.4 and CentOS x64:

# rpm -Uvh hspc-plugin-pp-op-protx-4.5.4-27.swsoft.x86_64.rpm
# hspc-upgrade-manager --finish

All newly added credit cards will have their expire date set correctly to the last day of a month.

Since the hotfix for already added credit cards requires complex manipulations with the database, it is recommended to contact Odin Technical Support for assistance.
