There is a number of PayPal transactions in Pending status under Top > Commerce Director > Online Payments > Transaction Log in OBAS. Those transactions were abandoned by users but remain in Pending status for a long period of time.


Such behavior was classified as the software issue PBAS-30089 and was fixed in OBAS 4.5.5 release.

To resolve the issue, please upgrade to 4.5.5 as described in How to upgrade OBAS system to the latest available version.


If upgrade is not an option for you, there is a hotfix for 4.5.3 version.

  1. Download and install a hotfix.

    32-bit: hspc-plugin-pp-op-paypal_adaptive-4.5.3-55.swsoft.i386.rpm

    # rpm -Uvh hspc-plugin-pp-op-paypal_adaptive-4.5.3-55.swsoft.i386.rpm
    # hspc-upgrade-manager --finish

    64-bit: hspc-plugin-pp-op-paypal_adaptive-4.5.3-55.swsoft.x86_64.rpm

    # rpm -Uvh hspc-plugin-pp-op-paypal_adaptive-4.5.3-55.swsoft.x86_64.rpm
    # hspc-upgrade-manager --finish
  2. Re-run the tasks related to the transactions in question under Top > Configuration Director > Logging and Errors > Task Queue
