A new Reseller with ID 1002 and the default option Reseller only uses Provider hosting plan categories and groups was created.

But in the ResellerĀ“s shop only the Domains tab is shown, all other tabs of other categories (e.g. Hosting) are not shown.

Applying the solution from Delegated Hosting Plan is not visible in Reseller's store to the hosting plans does not take any effect.

The following failed tasks could be found in Top > Action Log > Tasks Queue:

Task #12345678       API re-caching (HSPC::API::HP 1.0 get_categorized_plan_list)
Task #12345679       API re-caching (HSPC::API::HP 1.0 get_sellable_plan_list)

In the Task Manager log /var/log/taskman.log the following could be found:

From the problem report #p2015-06-09_14-15-39:

[2015/06/09 14:15:38] [ERROR] [28424] [HSPC::Taskman::Comm::backend_execute_task] Task #12345679 HSPC::XMLAPI -> _cache_update_on_modify_task failed miserably: AuthenError: Authentication error: The account ID '1001' has not been found
[2015/06/09 14:15:39] [ERROR] [28424] [HSPC::Taskman::Comm::backend_execute_task] Task HSPC::XMLAPI -> _cache_update_on_modify_task failed! (See /var/log/hspc/p2015-06-09_14-15-38 for details)


Failed tasks are caused by empty user list of the deleted Reseller account with ID #1001.

Such behavior was classified as the software issue PBAS-29982 and was fixed in OBAS 4.5.5.


To resolve the issue, please upgrade to 4.5.5 as described in How to upgrade OBAS system to the latest available version.

Hotfixes for earlier OBAS versions

  1. Restart the hspcd service.

    # service hspcd restart

    Warning: Restart of the hspcd service will cause OBAS downtime for about 10-60 seconds.

  2. If the hspcd service restart did not resolve the issue, please create a "fake user" for the deleted Reseller with ID #1001 under

    Top > Account Director > Reseller Manager > Resellers > Set "Deleted" in "Status" field > Search > Click on Reseller #1001 > Switch to the Users tab > Add a new user 

    Please make sure that the "fake user" stays Active.
