How to change BackupAgent "Open" URL for accessing the Entry Point?

Answer

The URL may be changed through Branding settings for all customers under that brand.

  1. Go to Settings > Branding > <BRAND> > Services Branding > Applications Branding",
  2. Select BackupAgent,
  3. Click "Edit",

  4. Edit the application URL

    Note: if custom URL is used, it is necessary to specify it including "http://"/"https://", but without /ManagementConsole/Login.aspx, e.g.:

    http://backupagent.provider.com would result in http://backupagent.provider.com/ManagementConsole/Login.aspx link being followed when opening the BA url from CP.

  5. Click Apply to instances,
  6. Wait for reconfiguration tasks to pass.

Note: download links do not follow above logic, and are appended to the specified URL. E.g. if Download URL for Windows client is specified as "Download_win.exe", it would transform to:

http://backupagent.provider.com/Download_win.exe
