Symptoms
Notifications with the unicode symbols that used to work correctly in BA 5.5.x stopped working after upgrade to PBA 6.0.1, when you try to preview the template or edit it, an error is displayed:
"Not escaped #"
Cause
The issue is caused by the bug with id #PBA-62246 ("Notification templates and unicode support - Not escaped #").
Resolution
Install the hotfix #125050.
