Our DSN conections fail on code transferred from win5 to win3 (our new win 2008 R2 server.) I installed both 32-bit and 64-bit the MySQL ODBC 3.51 Drivers but we get the following error:

    Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

    [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application

     /library/connect.txt, line 62

On Windows 2008x64 H-sphere manages ODBC DSN x64 only. This error is caused by the fact that site is running under x32 application pool with x64 DSN.

To change x32 Application Support for Application Pool:

  1. Go to User's CP->Domain Settings->Web options->Edit Hosting parameters->ASPNET->change Aspnet version
  2. Untick "Enable 32-bit applications support" option.

If ASPNET is disabled, enable it and try to disable it again, you will see "Enable 32-bit applications support" option.
