An Executing configuration script task in OA task manager for Presence Builder APS fails with an error like below:

Task ID 10000001
Queue name domain_service100001
Task name APS application 'Parallels Web Presence Builder', id 101, instance 100001 : executing configuration script
Task description APS application 'Parallels Web Presence Builder', id 101, instance 100001 : executing configuration script
Subscription ID 10001
Queue status Failed
Start not earlier than Feb-23-2014 16:52
Method name taskExecuteInstanceControlCommand on SCREF:apache:0
Last execution output Script execution failed: executing '/usr/bin/php -d open_basedir= -q configure.php' for APS application instance with id 100001 returned value '255' with output '' and errors ''.

In the webspace folder for the corresponding website on the web hosting server the siteapps/ParallelsPresenceBuilder-100001/htdocs/config.php file is missing.

Without the config.php configuration file the Presence Builder application is not able to function properly.

In order to resolve this issue, there are 3 solutions as below :

  1. If you have a backup for this webspace, you may restore the config.php file from it to the location above and resubmit the failed task.

  2. If this is the first time you enable the Presence Builder APS for this webspace or there are Presence Builder site snapshots available or the application is not actually required, you may cancel this failed task and uninstall the Presence Builder from the Customer Control Panel. After that, you need to reinstall it from scratch.

  3. If you do not have any backups for this webspace to restore the config.php file, you need to create a new ticket for the Presence Builder product at Odin technical support and ask to enable the Presence Builder manually and regenerate the config.php file. After the config file is restored, you should resubmit the failed task.
