Symptoms
The attempt to add new PCS 6 hardware node to POA fails with the error:
Can not determine remote host '<IP_ADDRESS>' platform.
The file /etc/parallels-release on the PCS node contains the following string:
# cat /etc/parallels-release
Parallels Cloud Server 6.0.5 (1779)
Cause
The issue has been identified as bug CCU-7566. Please contact your Account Manager to trace the status of the issue.
Resolution
POA cannot parse the file /etc/parallels-release properly. As a workaround, change the content of /etc/parallels-release in the following way:
# cat /etc/parallels-release
Parallels Cloud Server 6.0.0 (1779)
