Symptoms

Reseller is trying to delete the resource rate from the service plan, but it fails with an error:

You can not remove Resource Rates from Delegated Plan.

Cause

The service plan is delegated from the provider and the reseller is not allowed to remove the resource rates from it.

Resolution

I. Note: the steps below delete the resource rate not only from this reseller but from all the resellers the service plan is delegated to.

  1. Delete the resource rate from the providers service plan

  2. Synchronize the resellers subscriptions:

    Home> Products> Service Plans> #ID Reseller Service Plan
Synchronize Resellers

    option "Remove Obsolete Resources" is required.

II. If you need the resource rate to be deleted only from this resellers service plan, you can do the following:

  1. Create new service plan without these resource rates from the providers side.
  2. Delegate it to the reseller.
  3. Synchronize the reseller. After synchronizing all the resellers based on this resellers plan, this newly created service plan will be available for all of them.

III. Also, the reseller is able to mark these resource rates as not visible in store and not visible in CCP ("Show in CP" and "Show in Store" http://download.pa.parallels.com/pba/5.5/doc/50966.htm), then it will be not possible to purchase these resources neither in CCP nor in store, but the possibility to purchase it from the resellers control panel (by the resellers staff) will be left.
