  1. I created subscription with shared IP address.

  2. Afterwards I change limit for the resource IP addresses from value '0' to '1' for required subscription.

  3. Then went to Customer Control Panel and changed IP address type from 'Shared' to 'Dedicated'.

But when I have checked this dedicated IP address in Parallels Plesk Automation (PPA) Administration Panel I found that required IP address is marked as not used. Why?


Ability to change IP address type from 'Shared' to 'Dedicated' is not supported in Parallels Plesk Automation (PPA) 11.1.

This issue has been considered as feature request and was implemented in next version of Parallels Plesk Automation (PPA) 11.5.

In this case you have two options for resolve the issue:

  1. Upgrade your Parallels Plesk Automation (PPA) to a newer 11.5 version. Afterwards you will be able to change IP address as it is described in following article.

  2. Recreate required subscription with using requried 'Dedicated' IP address.
