Lync HP APS Application version 4.4+ provide functionality to view and upload user photos directly into POA profile and Active Directory. The "Users" screen of Lync HP application allows to switch photos display mode with button on the toolbar "Show/Hide User Photos". In case Lync HP application is deployed on POA 6.0 the following error is display on attempt to switch users list into photos displaying mode:

Fault Response: Server Error. Method 'pem.getUserPhotoByLogin' not found

Parallels Operations Automation 6.0 does not support API methods required to query or modify user photos. Attempt to access them leads to the exception in endpoint and the error is displayed.

In order to temporary disable the button on toolbar it is necessary to apply customization to the UI skin stylesheet. For example the default skin stylesheet is located on ui host at the following path

Append the following to the bottom of the stylesheet to temporary hide the button from toolbar:

/* - Temp w/a to hide Show User Photos button */
div.a-toolbar-buttons-main > span[widgetid="userPhotos"] { display:none; }

To apply changes to the skin please restart  pemui service.
Please make sure to remove that workaround once you upgrade to POA version supporting required API methods.
Additionally it is possible that the state of the show/hide button was saved in the user cookie if Lync HP 4.4+ was deployed on POA 5.5 first and later upgraded to 6.0. In that case it is necessary to delete a cookie lync.users.view.enableUserPhotos associated with the domain of the CCP.
