Symptoms
The domain subscription cancelation order was placed, but fails to be processed. At the subscription service status history tab there is an message:
Domain cancelatioin request not accepted by registrar. Domain Name <domain_name> cannot be deleted, because it is no longer within the deletion grace period. Domain status:Registered <1 time(s) called.>
Cause
This is an OpenSRS restriction, not all domains can be deleted with the REVOKE command which is sent on a domain cancellation. See the OpenSRS API Quick Start Guide for details.
Resolution
Contact OpenSRS to clarify if there are any ways to cancel a domain.
