Symptoms
During server creation from image via API it is being deleted automatically soon after creation. The error in PACI-im.log:
failure: PRL_ERR_VM_ALREADY_REGISTERED_VM_NAME
Cause
On PCS level this process is the migration of image between two hosts with keeping the source.
On the destination hosts that were selected for servers creation there was an image with the same names as image used in our case. Generally it should be renamed after the migration is over. This could happen as result of hosts reboot during image migration.
This issue was escalated to POA Maintenance Team with ID CCU-8397, it will be fixed in one of POA future releases.
Resolution
Please contact Parallels technical support to apply the workaround and your account manager to clarify the status of the CCU-8397.
