How to install Open-Xchange in PPA?


  1. Install and configure the OX on Linux container as per Open-Xchange instruction.

  2. Install php-soap package on the Service Node where subscription is located, you can do it with yum utility.

  3. Add the OX APS package in the in PPA->infrastructure->Hosted Applications. Configure it according to the OX settings that were applied in the first step.

Make sure that settings like" Open-Xchange public site URL", "Open-Xchange installation host" resolves to correct IP address.

  1. Create a subscription based on the template from step 4.

  2. Add mailbox.

  3. Install OX application package in the "Applications" tab in Customer Control panel.

  4. Click the "add webmail account" button in the application menu.

If you get error like this on this step:

    Error: Unable to install the service because its installation requirements are not met.' 

Please make sure that you add mailbox on webspace.
