I have a Plesk 11 application installed in a Container managed by Odin Business Automation Standard (OBAS). How can I upgrade it to Plesk 12?

  1. Obtain and install the Plesk 12 application templates

  2. Set Plesk 12 and other Plesk 12 template dependencies:

Top > Service Director > Virtuozzo Manager > Applications > [application template] > [package set] > Dependencies tab > Edit

    a) pp12 should require pp12-postfix, pp12-bind and other pp12 packages that will be installed during Plesk upgrade

    b) pp12-postfix, pp12-bind and all other pp12 packages should require pp12.

This operation should be performed for each OS template to be upgraded.

  1. Edit the Container Hosting Plan, marking the Plesk 11 template as not included but sellable for 0:

Top > Billing Director > Product Manager > Hosting Plans > [Container Hosting Plan] > Applications > Edit

Uncheck the 'Included' checkbox next to the Plesk 11 application and set its price to 0. Press "Save".

  2. Switch to the "Licenses" tab, select the Plesk 11 license, uncheck the "Active" and "Sell this license in my store" checkboxes and press "Save".

  3. Add the Plesk 12 application(s) as included to the plan.

  4. Configure the Plesk 12 license class and set the Plesk 12 license as Included.

  5. Update the Container subscription to the latest plan version:

Top > Billing Director > Product Manager > Hosting Plans > [Container hosting plan] > Subscriptions > Upgrade Subscriptions

During the upgrade, Plesk in the Container and the related license will both be upgraded to the latest Plesk 12 version.
