  • Applies to:
  • Odin Business Automation Standard 4.5
  • Plesk Automation 11.5

It is not possible to create a subscription using the API or through Odin Business Automation Standard (OBAS) after installing MU #03 on Plesk Automation (PA) 11.5:

"You are trying to set up a subscription with multiple webspaces. Please exclude "domain_name" from the call parameters. This way, you will be able to create a subscription and then create webspaces separately."

Automatic subscription provisioning only starts if the service template is designed for single webspace subscriptions. However, OBAS sends an incorrect API request to the Plesk Automation node, which is caused by internal issue #PBAS-29254.

In this case, it is possible to use the "domain_name" parameter. Read more about this in the documentation.

Possible workarounds:

There are two ways to resolve this issue, depending on your requirements for the service template:

  1. If you would like to sell "Multiple Webspaces" subscriptions via OBAS, you can leave the resources limits for a service template on the Plesk Automation node as it is, but turn off auto-provisioning:

    • Access "Products > Service Templates"
    • Choose the appropriate template and click "edit"
    • Remove the check box near the option "Autoprovisioning"

NOTE! If auto provisioning is turned off, webspaces should be created by customers manually after a subscription is created

  2. If the hosting plan was meant to create "Single Webspace" subscriptions, it is necessary to change the service template resource limits in the Plesk Automation Control Panel:

    • Access the "Resources" tab of the service template which has been used for subscription creation: "Top > Products > Service Templates > ..service_template_name.. > Resources"

    • Make sure that the limits are equal to "1" for the following resource types:

      • Apache/IIS Webspace
      • Database Service (MySQL/MSSQL Database)
      • Mail Service
      • Subscription
  3. Re-initiate subscription creation by re-submitting the order in OBAS (this step applies to resolutions 1 and 2 above).
