Changing a domain's name servers through Provider's Panel (PCC) under Top > Service Director > Domain Manager > Domains > Name Servers > Edit fails with the following error in the Action Log (Top > Configuration Director > Logging and Errors > Action Log):

Register Domain; Name Servers were not synchronized due to an error. 2003. Required parameter missing. V024 Missing glue record for server;

Such behavior was classified as the software issue PBAS-29260 and was fixed in OBAS 4.5.2 release.

Upgrade OBAS to the latest version.

Hotfix for OBAS 4.3.4

Hotfix for OBAS 4.3.4 is attached. Download the rpm package to the OBAS 4.3.4 node and install the hotfix using the following commands:

~# rpm -Ufv hspc-plugin-dm-nominet-4.3.4-46.swsoft.i386.rpm
~# hspc-upgrade-manager --finish

The hotfix behaviour is the following: if the name server does exist prior to registration, OBAS sends out both the server name and IP address (thus creating a glue record in case of a "subdomain name server"). If the name server already exists, OBAS sends out only its name.
