Provider is trying to order a license key through

Top > Service Director > License Manager > Licenses > New License

The order fails with this error:

Invalid Key configuration

The license key stays on the License Manager page (Top > Service Director > License Manager > Licenses) in status "Pending" without any number.

According to Advanced License Management Topics:

Invalid Key configuration means there was an attempt to provision a license without the necessary feature(s). For example, an attempt to provision Plesk 10 for Unix/Linux for Virtuozzo containers without any feature from the Domain Limit group will fail with such an error.

When Provider orders a license key through PCC, he or she is able to choose properties of the license key being ordered on the License Properties stage of the license creation Wizard: Top > Service Director > License Manager > Licenses > New License > Select License Class and Number of Licenses > License Properties as on the screenshot below

If no value is selected for some feature, license creation fails.

Note: The issue occurs only for provider issuing licenses. It does not affect customers.

Such behavior was considered to be a software issue PBAS-24997 that was fixed in OBAS 4.5.5.

Upgrade OBAS to the latest version.

As a workaround, you can issue the license as a customer (not as Provider).

If it is not possible to issue the license as a customer, please contact Odin Technical Support for assistance.
