Symptoms
After customer creates a server in CCP, it goes into Creation in progress state. After being in it for a while, the server gets deleted.
There are following lines in /var/log/IM/PACI-vm2vf.log:
PrlVmCfg_GetDevByType: PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG
configure_network[private]: PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG
set_ve_params: failure PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG
__beginedit_finished(__create_ve_cb, create.c, 677): failure: PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG
done_with_message
Cause
The template, from which the VE is created, does not comply with the requirements in PACI deployment guide, page 36. There is not enough network cards in it.
Resolution
Please configure the template as described in guide. A feature request with ID CCU-7352 was submitted for PACI to fix the template automatically in such cases.
