A Virtuozzo Container is configured to have two IP addresses in OBAS. I need to remove one IP address from the container. I try removing it with vzctl on the hardware node where the container resides:

[root@hw_root ~]# vzctl set CT_ID --ipdel IPaddress"

but OBAS adds the IP address back after synchronization.

What is the right way to remove an IP Address from the container?

Downgrade resource "Number of Static IP addresses" in Virtuozzo Container subscription. One can downgrade the resource through CP or Account > By Resources.

Refer to How to Add or Free Resources for more detail.
