  1. When I go to Mail tab, it shows blank screen:

    Top > Services > Websites > > Open in Control Panel > Mail
  2. I opened error console in browser and went to Mail tab again, the following error was shown in console:

    TypeError: item.userContactName is null


The issue is caused by database inconsistency after migration: contactName field has NULL value in psa database for some mail user(s).


  1. Login to the psa database on the Management Node:

    # mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow ` psa
  2. Run the query below to fix the issue for all the users affected by the problem:

    mysql> update smb_users set contactName = 'Some User Name' where contactName is null;
