The POA task 'Switch Director automatically in cluster' fails with the following error message:

There is no reachable web server in cluster 'Webcluster' to switch director to.

where 'Webcluster' is the name of the Linux Shared Hosting NG webcluster registered in POA.

The entry like this appears in the poa.debug.log logfile on the POA Management Node during the task execution:

Sep  5 07:34:30 osscore : ERR [1:5103:b48feb90:9288 1:5171:b0dfcb90 lib]: [task:785168 InteractiveHostOps::perform] ExSystem: module_id:'HostManager', ex_type_id:'515',Message:'Destination host 'HEWSL02' (#33), IP '' : Node #33 is unmanageable.', deprecated_codes = (0, 0), properties = { host_id: '33', }

So, the task says that it cannot find the available web server to switch the director role to and the poa.debug.log say about the same problem - the server which can be configured as director is unmanageable (unavailable).

POA cannot manage the server which may accept the director role due to network, hardware or software issues.

See the troubleshooting and resolution steps in the Parallels Knowledgebase aricle #2258 How to fix unmanageable POA-managed server.
