POA task to configure Lync 2010 service 'User_Profile' fails with the following error message:

Application configuration script reported errors:
Script Lync.ConfigureUser fails. See inner exception.
Limit of execution time was exceeded. Process permanently hangs up.

The name of the failed task looks like this:

APS application 'Microsoft Lync 2010', id 131, instance 2292 -> service 'User_Profile', instance 167027: executing configuration script

Affected versions of the Microsoft Lync 2010 APS application: 1.x and 2.0.

POA executes the RemoveUnusedDomains action on all customer's domains registered in Lync, this procedure may fail in case a lot of SIP domains belong to a customer.

Upgrade Lync 2010 APS application to 2.1 or later and then upgrade problem instances to this version.
