Symptoms
The task to remove a Lync user fails with the following diagnostics:
Script Lync.RemoveUser fails. See inner exception.
Execution of script finished with error(s).
Simple URL cannot be specified for a nonexistent SIP Domain. Please add the SIP Domain first.
Cause
Most likely, the Lync installation is misconfigured: some simple URLs remain, while the SIP domains were removed.
This issue will be resolved in a future update to Lync package in the scope of the request APSA-4766.
Resolution
Use the RemoveUnusedDomains script to resolve the problem. Refer to the Knowledgebase article RemoveUnusedDomains script for APS package Lync 2010 for more details on how to apply the script.
After the script is executed, re-run the failed tasks in POA Task Manager.
