A customer has subscription with Linux Mail Hosting (Clustered Qmail) service. During the new qmail mailbox creation the following error message appears in POA Customer Control Panel:

Cannot create a mailname. Such E-mail address already exists.

E-mail address is used as alias (additional e-mail address) in another qmail mailbox.

Determine which exactly mailbox uses e-mail address a customer is going to create in POA. It can be done in POA Customer Control Panel. In order to accomplish that it is necessary to check the 'Email-Addresses' tab for each existing mailbox in the subscription.

Then you can use one of the following ways to resolve the conflict:

  1. Remove alias from the mailbox that occupies desired e-mail address.
  2. Use another name for new mailbox.
