A customer cannot install an APS application in POA Customer Control Panel due to the following error message appearing after some timeout:

Unable to complete the operation. This may be due to the expiration of the operation execution time. Please try again.


  1. Change the uniq attribute to the "global" value in the APP-META.xml file of the APS application
  2. Re-pack the APS application with new version
  3. Import the new version of the APS application and let customer install it


The application has a setting which is declared with the attribute uniq="application" in the APP-META.xml file. It means that value of the setting should be unique for all application instances provisioned in the global context.

In the current version POA APS controller cannot properly install such application, the problem will be resolved in the future versions of the product in the scope of the request APS-12086.
