Provider wants to migrate customers' Apache websites created on Standard Linux Shared Hosting Service between POA-managed servers. It may be needed due to many reasons, e.g.:

  • Some Apache server is overloaded by too large amount of websites hosted on it
  • Some website consumes too much resources and affects other customers' websites
  • Provider wants to decomission a shared hosting server

POA does not have automated way to move customers' Apache websites between managed Standard Linux Shared Hosting servers. Instead Provider may deploy Linux Shared Hosting NG service in POA and migrate customers' websites to Web Cluster or Web Server NG.

Follow the instructions in the Parallels Knowledgebase article Linux Shared Hosting NG: Migration to perform migration.

Aso, refer to the POA Services Upgrade/Migration Guide for additional information, chapter 'Migrating Websites from Standard Shared Hosting'.
