For checking if PA updates are pending run the following command on the PA management node as root user:

[root@pa115mn ~]# /usr/local/ppa/bin/ppa_update --check-updates
[INFO]: Checking current user privileges...
[INFO]: Determining current PPA version...
[INFO]: Found PPA version: 11.5.0 RELEASE update #22
[INFO]: Checking for PPA version '11.5.0 RELEASE update #22' updates...
[INFO]: No new updates are available

Available updates can be installed with the following command:

[root@pa115mn ~]# /usr/local/ppa/bin/ppa_update --install-updates


Parallels Plesk Automation Management Node was successfully updated.

Installed updates: #22

Parallels Plesk Automation Service Nodes update was successfully scheduled.

To get current Service Nodes update status, visit the page:
    Administration Panel -> Operations -> Tasks

Update installation log can be found at /usr/local/ppa/log/ppaupdate.log.

Also Please note that since Plesk Automation 11.5 MU#20 auto-updater is implemented.
