Trying to (re)generate DNS zones by using the DNS Creator we get:
$ java -m db -z zone.tld

Zones creation finished

Permissions for the /hsphere/local/var/named/*.* are correct.


‘named’ user (group) has reached its quota.


Since quotas for ‘named’ user and group are not needed to H-Sphere to function normally, we should delete them executing:
#setquota -u named 0 0 0 0 -a
#setquota -g named 0 0 0 0 –a

And then DNS records will be recreated successfully.
