(02) Prerequisites
1) ATTENTION! This build should be installed as follows:
   a) Clean installation
   b) Over Parallels Business Automation Standard 4.1.6-09 release
   c) Over Parallels Business Automation Standard 4.2-124 release
(03) Functional Changes: 4
1. Frame set in Control Panel for Parallels Plesk Panel (PP) shared hosting subscriptions created on Parallels Plesk Panel 11 has been changed.
2. Images for Control Panel skins can be customized from UI.
3. Subscription naming rules changed for Miscellaneous hosting plans.
4. Locales have been updated.

PBAS-27939 It is possible to disable all WinXP skins, and this results in the error: "ERROR: you must define options=> for WebPage->cell_combo() call" when provider or resellers are logged in PCC/RCC.
PBAS-27930 Memory Usage is shown in bytes on the Home tab in the Customer Panel for PVC subscriptions.
PBAS-27912 Issue Summary: The "Parallels Business Automation" logo is shown instead of a customized one on some screens.
PBAS-27907 Kayako Fusion sends confirmation emails, even if this option is disabled.
PBAS-27906 After upgrading PP from 10.4.4 to 11.0.9, the provider cannot log in to CP via the "Login to CP" button.
PBAS-27905 There is no way to change the password for the PP domain and PP Client in PBA-S CP if it has been changed on the PP side.
PBAS-27903 PBA-S cannot process events from PP if some of the events came malformed.
PBAS-27895 DNS zone update events are not fetched from PP Hardware Nodes for some domains.
PBAS-27883 Subscriptions in subscription selector drop-down list in CP  are not sorted in alphabetical order.
PBAS-27062 The "Declined" transaction result obtained from PayPal is parsed incorrectly as "Error."
PBAS-24304 Promotions keep being applied to an account after the promotion application limit per account is reached.
PBAS-24197 SRV records are not synchronized from PP.

 in the form of an autoinstaller script and RPM packages directory:

(07) Installation instructions
1) Prepare a clean Parallels Virtuozzo Container or dedicated physical server with a supported OS. See the list of supported OSes in Chapter (02) Prerequisites.
2) Prepare for Parallels Business Automation installation
Two types of installation are available:
  * Over network
  * Download the autoinstaller from the Parallels server.
      Autoinstaller is located in the Parallels Business Automation distribution's root directory and named ""
  * Using tarball
  * Download the tarball with Parallels Business Automation distribution named "pbas-4.2.1-05.tar."
  * Unpack the archive:
        # tar xf pbas-4.2.1-05.tar
        # cd pbas-4.2.1-05
3) Start the installation process.
  * Attended mode:
      # sh
  * Unattended mode:
      # sh -C
4) If the auto-installer has been started in attended mode, then follow the wizard. If running in unattended mode, wait for the result of the installation.
5) If the installation fails, check "/tmp/product_installer.log" for problem details and possible resolutions. Please contact support for assistance in resolving any problems (do not forget to send installer log files along with the problem description).
6) When installation is completed, the login to Parallels Business Automation - Standard Provider Control Center will be both shown on the screen and sent to the user "root" email. Use this login information to start working with Parallels Business Automation - Standard.
(08) Upgrade instructions
1) Create full backup of the PBA-S container and the container where the PBA-S database is located.
2) Make sure that the connection to MySQL with root's privileges can be established.
  If MySQL root's password is set for the root user, or your MySQL server is placed on another host, do the following:
  * Open the configuration file in a text editor as root (create a file, if necessary):
      # vi /root/.my.cnf
  * Make sure it contains the following data, or add it, replacing <root_password> with the MySQL root password and <mysql_host> with the MySQL server location (e.g., localhost):
3) If you have cluster configuration, please execute the steps described in the KB article.
4) Prepare for the Parallels Business Automation upgrade.
    * Download the tarball with the Parallels Business Automation distribution named "pbas-4.2.1-05.tar."
    * Unpack the archive:
        # tar xf pbas-4.2.1-05.tar
        # cd pbas-4.2.1-05
5) Start the upgrade process.
     * Run installer
      # sh
     * Follow the wizard.
6) Resolve issues with configuration.
   If the upgrade pre-checks fail, resolve the identified issues and re-run the installer.
   "CP customization" check fails if you have either custom skins or control panel customization.
   The customization and skins should be reworked to be compatible with PBA-S 4.2.
   Please refer to the "Versions 4.16 - 4.2 Cross Reference" document for instructions.
   When the new customization and new skins are ready, run the installer with the upgrade code specified in order to skip the "CP customization" check.
      # PBAS_UPGRADE_CODE=7364 sh
   Then follow the wizard.
7) Update the OS of the PBA-S server according to this article:
8) To enable the new "Panel Theme" skin for the login page, switch the default skin under PCC > Configuration Director > Miscellaneous Settings > Interface Settings.
(09) Known problems and limitations
1) Parallels Plesk Panel 10 template installation takes a long time.
   To install these templates by means of Parallels Business Automation - Standard, increase timeout in the file /etc/hspc/hspc.conf LONG_TIMEOUT, setting it to 3600 or more.
2) Windows 2008 containers on PVC 4.6 and PP 10.3 now require a high-security password. Please adjust the PBA-S password setting at Configuration Director > Security Manager > Setup:
   - "The minimal permitted password length" cannot be less than 8 symbols.
   - Enable: The password should contain both lower-case and upper-case symbols.
   - Enable: The password should contain special symbols.
3) To work with standard templates and WACP, the compatibility hotfix for PVA agent should be installed:
4) If you are going to publish SiteBuilder sites to a PVC 4.6 container, you need to install the compatibility hotfix for PVA agent ( and connect this PVC node to PBA-S using the "vzagent0" login.
5) Please note that if you enable the Consolidated invoice feature, customers' services will be renewed without payments. Please check the account balance for customers who had enabled this feature to prevent free-of-charge service using.
6) "MyCP" legacy control panel is no longer supported.
7) Logicboxes/ResellerClub plug-in configuration should be updated after the upgrade.

    b. Update the "User name" with your reseller ID.
