Credit card payments/refunds are not accepted or processed. There is an error on the E-Transactions tab:

Capture declined. Reason: Error2: Server Error. Could not process payment data. Please contact Provider.

If you log in to PBA Provider Control Panel on the welcome screen you see the warning:

Warning: Private key is not loaded. It is not possible to decrypt credit cards data and thus, stored cards cannot be charged.


The encryption key for credit card payment processing is not loaded in the PBA memory, therefore no credit card payments can be made.


Load a private key:

PBA 5.4: Configuration Director > E-Commerce Settings > Encryption Keys

PBA 5.4: Home > System > Settings > Encryption Keys
